First Weekend is a new series of one-night-only events held on the first Thu/Fri/Sat of each month, including storytelling nights, short play festivals, mini-film festivals, and more! Each weekend will have a different theme — the theme for October’s First Weekend events is ‘Alien.’

Breaking Bread is a bi-monthly storytelling event, hosted by Julia LaFortune. October’s edition features real-life stories related to the weekend’s theme of ‘Alien’ (whether that means the immigrant experience, extra-terrestrial life, or anything inbetween).
