Originally from Montreal, and formerly of the Lincoln Center Jazz Band and The Duke Ellington Orchestra as well as other big bands, Shigeta now resides in Vancouver where he is in scorching demand.
Rooted in the golden age of the big band jazz era, Shigeta entertains and delights his audiences with deep understanding of swing…he is “truly one of the best trombonists in the world” — Birkley Wisniewski, Director, Sugar Swing.
Program subject to change. Tickets sold at the door beginning at 6PM. Doors at 6:30. First come, first seated.
