A night of improv and stand up to raise funds for the Corsberg family

Funds raised will help benefit Robin’s father, Mike Corsberg, where the medical system has failed, and will also be used to help his family make needed long-distance trips.

Mike Corsberg, a retired CW4 from the United States Army, served in the Army Medical Corps for his entire career and retired as an experienced Physician’s Assistant (P.A.). He traveled the world helping fellow soldiers by providing basic medical care in daily unit sick call and attending to soldiers in emergencies as they arose during duty and training; he set examples of strong, assertive leadership by courageously advocating for the rights of his fellow soldiers. Because his integrity in his job performance was unparalleled, his soldiers viewed him as a mentor, and he inspired their futures in health care both in and out of the military. The honor with which he served his soldiers set the example for all who knew him; that honor, and his honesty, made and continue to make a difference. His former soldiers, and their family members, love and respect him to this day.

After retirement, Chief joined the civilian world in the tiny town of Manson, Iowa, where he managed a family practice clinic and eventually, through the years, worked in the field of mental health. It is in this small town where Mike was, and still is, a base for safety. People from all walks of life come to his home for his advice and love. He is a proud man who would rather give help then ask for it. As he continues his recovery from serious medical issues, we need to show him that we, the community, can help him just as he has helped so many others.

We are ready to help!
