The first Main Stage Production in iDiOM Theater’s 2018–19 Season is The Skriker, a 1994 “supernatural thriller” by Caryl Churchill that tells the story of an ancient fairy who transforms into a plethora of objects and people as it pursues Lily and Josie, two teenage mothers whom it befriends, manipulates, seduces and entraps.

Directed by Shu-Ling Hergenhahn-Zhao (Mr. Burns, a post-electric play; Adoration of Dora), The Skriker is a dark fairy tale about love, loss, and revenge, with elements of horror, naturalism and ‘magical realism’.
