Alexis Cole with Cory Weeds

Welcome Alexis Cole to the Jazz Center stage! Jazz Times calls her voice “a deep contralto as smooth and dark as the richest espresso,” and says that “Cole’s easy sense of swing is strongly reminiscent of Sarah Vaughan.”
Cole is an authentic gem, just now being discovered. This evening promises to be poignant, pleasurable, and prime.
