Summer 2019 Youth Acting Program classes begin

Mon, June 24, 2019 @ 10:00 am

A four-week summer acting program for ages 13–17, culminating in outdoor performances of Aristophanes’ The Birds

Taught by Michael Morgen and iDiOM Theater creative staff, with performances featured as part of CENTER’s annual Open Air Summer Rep.

A great opportunity for young actors to learn from local professionals and be part of CENTER’s summer theater program. Students will study physical acting and scene work, and perform in an outdoor production in our Summer Rep.

Classes run Mon–Fri, 10am–4pm from June 24 to July 17, with shows Thu/Fri/Sat, July 18–20 and 25–27 — see schedule details below.

Registration is open to all students age 13–17 (max. class size: 12). We want to make sure all families have access to the program, so we are offering sliding scale enrollment: $560/$420/$280/$140 for the four-week, five-days-a-week class.
