The Emperor of the Moon

Maritime Heritage Park 500 W Holly St, Bellingham, WA

Our first-ever outdoor show will take place this summer, right behind Center for the Arts in Maritime Heritage Park: Aphra Behn’s The Emperor of the Moon is a comical story about a Doctor obsessed with the moon, and his daughter and niece, who try to trick the good Doctor into allowing them to marry by passing off their two suitors as lunar royalty visiting from the moon. An outlandish, hysterical, and family-friendly farce playing in the open air in the amphitheater at Maritime Heritage Park.

Summer Rep: BRISEIS, by Glenn Hergenhahn-Zhao

Maritime Heritage Park 500 W Holly St, Bellingham, WA

An original play written by Artistic Director Glenn Hergenhahn-Zhao based on stories in The Iliad, and first mounted at iDiOM Theater back in 2012, this quirky black comedy is suitable for all ages (but does tell tales of violence and features at least one beating with a loaf of bread).
