The tragic death of Rutherford the cat unleashes a bizarre series of events in the life of his owner Nate, a struggling cartoonist. Are Nate’s visions of the ghost of his corpulent pet actually real, or are even more sinister forces at play? Can Nate’s family, girlfriend Beth, and therapist Davis help right the ship before things get nightmarishly real?
Michael Morgen directs this eight-person ensemble of actors, animals, and creatures more difficult to name.
The world premiere of local playwright and recent WWU theatre graduate Dinah Lankerovich’s spiraling dark comedy. The third entry in iDiOM Theater’s 2019–20 New Works Series (following Godlike by Rosalind Reynolds and Mixtape by Trevor Allens), and part of iDiOM Theater’s 2019–20 Main Stage season.
