iDiOM Theater presents
an online production of
Samuel Beckett’s landmark play
Directed by Sean Cook
Performed by Glenn Hergenhahn-Zhao, Nathan Smith, Jeff Braswell, and Ann Shannon
An absurd world frozen between existence and death, Samuel Beckett’s landmark 20th century play was his follow-up to his first absurdist masterpiece, Waiting for Godot. Four characters, Hamm (played by Hergenhahn-Zhao), Clov (Smith), Nagg (Braswell) and Nell (Shannon), cling to sanity while performing daily rituals, sometimes comically, as they wrestle some sort of order from the cyclical, repetitious, seeming nothingness of life.
This play follows iDiOM Theater’s 2018 production of Waiting for Godot. It’s directed by WWU and iDiOM alumni, Sean Cook (Director of iDiOM’s Last Days of Melville Malloy, Red, The Devil and Billy Markham.) and features Nathan Smith another long time iDiOM collaborator and WWU alumni.
We’re excited to present this main stage production our Fall 2020 season.
