iDiOM Theater’s 2020–21 Playwright-in-Residence brings another world premiere to our stage. Unsung
an imagined prequel to Beowulf.
An intimate family drama about a kid struggling to grow up in a world that doesn’t value his strengths. In the end, fate takes a hand. Also, the kid is Beowulf.
One the eve of his last battle, a famous hero finds himself deposited in his own past where he watches his younger self navigate life on the edges of the warrior culture he will one day know well.
Running time: 90 minutes
We’re excited to present this main stage production of our Fall 2020 season.
