iDiOM Theater Winter Auditions have been scheduled for Saturday, January 6th, 6pm–10pm, at Center for the Arts.

There are several shows being cast:

Three full-length plays that will be produced this spring/summer:

• The Seagull, Anton Chekhov’s slice-of-life drama, a classic of the Russian theater,
• Mr. Burns, a post-electric play, by Anne Washburn (a dark comedy in which an episode of The Simpsons grows to mythical status via oral retelling after a worldwide apocalypse)
• Come With Me If You Want to Live, by Kim Ross & Brendan LaBotz (a musical adaptation of The Terminator),

as well as some smaller, fun events coming up sooner:

• a 48-Hour Theater Festival on January 13 & 14, and
• Serial Killers, our annual tournament of episodic theater (end of January to beginning of March).
